FUND RAISING FOR SANCOOB

We are focussing on our in-situ conservation project fund raising this season for SANCOOB a rescue and rehabilitation centre in South Africa.
 
 
 
Three of our hard working, dedicated keepers are signing up for their volunteer programme this winter.

We are looking for exceptional Catering Assistants to join the A Team for the 2015 season!

This role will involve greeting and serving customers, taking payments, preparation and cleaning of the dining area, food displays and the serving of beverages and ice creams.

As a member of the team you will be required to provide a quality service and a warm welcome to visitors to enhance and maintain the companies high standards within the catering department. 

Applicants need to be of a smart appearance, have excellent communication skills and thrive in a busy pressurised environment.

This role will include weekend and Bank Holiday working and shifts will vary depending on rota.

Hours are 20+ per week to increase over peak periods. No evening work or cooking will be involved.

This is a part time seasonal position from June to October 2015

Wight Wildlife Workshops at Seaview

Introduction to Wildlife Photography


Introduction to Wildlife Photography is a one day workshop set out to give you an understanding of some of the fundamental techniques utilised in Natural History Photography. This workshop takes place on a one to one basis or as a group (please see below for details and pricing).

Seaview Wildlife Encounter is the location for this workshop and the park has a great number of photographic opportunities from Penguins to Flamingos, Otters to Meerkats and many of the parks avian inhabitants.

Upon arrival, the first hour will be spent looking at equipment and basic camera settings used for photographing Wildlife. Then, out for the first of two photographic sessions where you can put your newly learnt skills to the test. During lunch there will be a chance to analyse your photographs from the morning's session and after the break, it's onto the second photographic session. The day finishes with a full review of what you have learnt.
